Job Overview

As a Quality Inspector at Formlogic, you will join a talented and experienced multi-disciplinary team to bring our technology to market. We're looking for a seasoned inspector, someone skilled and experienced with demanding and critical applications in the medical, aerospace or defense sectors. You should also have experience with automated and semi-auto tools such as CMMs, inspection arms (ROMER. FARO, etc).

As a startup however, our requirement for this role is not simply inspecting parts. You'll be instrumental in helping to automate the inspection tools and processes to achieve our ambitious vision. This is key to having the ability to scale with demand. You'll have the collective skills and experience of our software team to help you with that.

You will also be a key stakeholder of our ISO implementation, able to conduct internal audits and improve the way we do business. On the front end of the business, you will work with the sales team by providing insights on time estimates, methods, and tools.

This role will be a key position to both deliver results in the near term, and grow with the company in the long term. If you are an experienced inspector with a well-rounded set of skills and experience, we want to talk with you!

The ideal candidate experience includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry certification
  • GD&T knowledge and experience in advanced machine shops
  • Extensive inspection / QA experience
  • ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 quality systems experience
  • ProShop or other ERP systems
  • Creative problem-solving tools and methods
  • Partnering with all functions to add capability, reduce defects, and improve the customer experience.
